Jerry Crumpton Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet Available – Coach Jerry Crumpton passed away on Sunday, May 8th, and we were heartbroken. Coach Crumpton (or “Crump,” as he was lovingly called) was a vital part of the TJGT family for the previous 10+ years. He was a legend in the Texas High School coaching ranks for the last 50 years.
According to TJGT, Jerry personified what it meant to be a coach and a mentor; he sincerely cared about each and every student and player he met, and we are all better for having known him. We all have our favorite Coach Crumpton stories since he had such a significant impact on each of our lives, and his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
In this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family; his legacy and enduring impact on the TJGT and High School Golf Community will live on long after he is gone. Coach Crump, we love and miss you!
