Jeremy Otto Death – A motorcyclist and a passenger vehicle were involved in a collision about 38 miles north of Granada, which resulted in the death of a Wells man. An accident with injuries was reported to have occurred on Thursday at 4:21 p.m. north of Granada near the intersection of 170th Street and 260th Avenue (County Road 53). Emergency personnel were rushed to the scene.
Jeremy Otto, who was the rider of the motorcycle, was recognized as the person who died at the scene of the accident. Otto was from Wells, Minnesota. According to a press release issued by the Martin County Sheriff’s office, the driver of the car, Andrew Olson, age 30, from Fairmont, was evaluated for injuries at the site of the accident and discharged after receiving treatment.
The investigation into the accident is continuing at this time. The Minnesota State Patrol, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the Mayo Ambulance, the Granada First Responders, the Fairmont Fire Department, and the Fairmont Police Department all had personnel present at the scene.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a woman from Jensen Beach, Florida, who was 69 years old, her away on Thursday as a result of crashing her motorcycle into a canal in Martin County. According to the investigators, the collision took place at 11:14 a.m. on Southwest Allapattah Road, which is located approximately one mile south of Martin Highway.
According to the FHP crash report, the woman was driving her vehicle on Southwest Allapattah Road in the northbound direction at the time of the collision.The motorcycle, however, veered off the road and into a canal for reasons that are still unknown.
