UPDATE: On Thursday, April 20, his family will host a visitation at the Bright Funeral Home from 3 to 6 pm for friends and family. On Friday, at 2:00 p.m., a Memorial Service honoring his life will be conducted at Hope Lutheran Church in Wake Forest. After the service, burial will take place at the Pine Forest Memorial Garden.
Jeremy Moran Death – Jeremy Moran, a Wake Forest High School graduate and Wake Forest University student has passed away following a motor vehicle accident that happened on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Reports have it that Moran was fatally injured as a result of the accident and was later pronounced dead. The factor in the accident is not known at this time as officials are yet to released the official report of the accident.

A fatal collision involving two vehicles and which occurred on Capital Boulevard/US 1 is being investigated by the Wake Forest police department. The collision took place shortly after 8:30 in the morning. While the police were conducting their investigation, the intersection of Capital Boulevard/US 1 and Purnell Road/Harris Road was closed.
Police claim that Kaitlyn Corona, 23, who was driving a Nissan Versa at the time of the accident, was attempting to go on the green light from Purnell Road across southbound Capital Boulevard/US 1 when a 17-year-old guy driving a Dodge Caravan moving south crossed a red light and collided with Corona’s vehicle. Corona was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Corona was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, and another individual was transported to a hospital with what are thought to be minor injuries. The 17-year-old driver was taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, running a red light, careless and reckless driving, driving with a license that had been revoked, failing to lower speed to avoid a collision, and driving with expired registration and inspection. These charges are all classified as traffic infractions.
All lanes along Capital Boulevard/US 1 in the southbound direction are reopened. After that, there was no further information provided.
