Jeffrey Michael Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – According to a report provided by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim of Monday’s shooting was Jeffrey Michael McBride, a man who had previously been convicted in a fatal shooting in Denton in 2015.
According to dentonrc.com, The cause of death for McBride was a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and the manner of death was a homicide, according to the medical examiner. McBride was declared dead at Medical City Denton at 10:55 p.m. Monday.
At the time of his death, McBride was 31 years old. At 9:54 p.m. Monday, he was discovered in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the 1100 block of East Sherman Drive in Denton, according to police.
Denton police have not released any additional information about Monday’s shooting or potential suspects. Police spokesperson Amy Cunningham said it is unlikely the department will release such details until an arrest occurs.
