The Pride of Nottingham is devastated to learn about the sudden loss of our much-loved CEO, Jason Turner, who passed away last night at the age of 50. Jason, who was appointed in 2016, our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
Who was Jason Turner?
Jason Turner was the Chief Execitve of Notts County also known as Notts County Football Club, a professional association football club based in Nottingham, England. Jason was much-loved amongst the club members. He devoted himself to the club during his time of service. He was known as an outstanding CEO who was respected across football. During the course of his career he had also worked with Bath City, Newport County, Plymouth Argyle and Cardiff City.
A recent statement released by his mother, Jen, and father, David, reads:
“Words cannot describe our sadness following the loss of our beloved son, Jason. We know this feeling will be shared by all of his colleagues and his many, many friends. While we come to terms with this news, we ask for our family’s privacy to be respected.”
