Jane Brinkley, 20, one of Radio Redux’s outstanding young performers, died on Sunday. His cause of death is unclear, as are the circumstances surrounding his demise.
Jane is a two-time National Young Playwrights Festival winner and a regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards gold medalist for poetry and prose. She was twice recognized at the Oregon State Music Convention for solo musical theater, voice, group scene, and playwriting; qualified for theater nationals; and performed in the 2019 International Thespian Festival musical, “Be More Chill.”
In addition to “It’s a Wonderful Life,” Jane has appeared in “A Christmas Carol,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”
Family and friends have sent tributes and condolences on social media.
