James Vogel Death – James Vogel, a resident of Leesburg, Virginia, and a beloved community member passed away sadly on Thursday, September 28th, 2023. He died peacefully at the age of 71 at home surrounded by his loving partner Barbara Shea-Kutt and their dog Mysty. James was just a few days shy of his 72nd birthday. He was announced dead by the family through an obituary page which was shared by Loudoun Club 12 on social media.
Who was James Vogel?
“Jimmy V.” James L. Lawrence Willard Vogel and Rosemarie (McDaniel) Vogel, Vogel’s late parents, welcomed him into the world on October 8, 1951. Being a resident of Leesburg, he actively participated in the community. Jimmy loved music, all of it. Since his time at Virginia Tech, he has been an impassioned Hokie. He was a fan of football, baseball, and some basketball. Glass bottles, stamps, and baseball card collections were among his pastimes. He cherished road vacations, nature hikes, the great outdoors, and animals.
Jimmy was a very funny man. Almost everyone he met, he loved. He was a passionate and involved AA member. In addition to being a devoted father to his son Jesse Vogel and daughter Jordan Vogel Young (Allen), he was also adored by his companion Barbara Shea-Kutt. Ron Vogel has a brother named Jimmy.
Jimmy was a devoted father who gave his two kids advice and warmth in his presence. Through his words and deeds, he imparts to children a feeling of amazement for the world and imparts important life lessons. Everyone who has the honor of knowing him is inspired by his role as a devoted father and spouse. He was an example of what it means to live a life filled with love, passion, and purpose. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
The family will release James Vogel’s funeral arrangements at a later date.
