James Schmelzer, the owner of Elite Photographic Studio in Shelby Township, Michigan was announced dead through social media publications. He died last night. Jim was a very dear friend and one of the very best human beings that many have ever met.
“Sam Borgia and I are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and master photographer James Schmelzer. Jim has been my buddy since I was a waitress at Penna’s when I was 17 and was the first one to show me the wedding ropes as we did events together time and again.” He was a huge part of the Thrilla Team and will be missed by everyone involved.
