James was born on September 9, 1955, and he attended Eureka High School before graduating. At the University of Missouri, he pursued his studies and graduated with a degree in environmental science. James devoted his professional life to environmental preservation, putting up great effort to preserve Missouri’s stunning natural surroundings. His dedication to sustainability and preservation inspired many, and his work was more than simply a job to him.
James participated actively in the Eureka community by volunteering for several neighborhood organizations and holding a position on the city council. He played a key role in planning neighborhood clean-up days, kid-focused educational activities, and other environmental improvement projects. Local and state authorities recognized him for his efforts with multiple prizes.
Apart from his career and volunteer activities, James was a loving husband and father. His three grandchildren, who were the joy of his life, along with his devoted wife Mary, their two children, Daniel and Rebecca, survive him. James was a man of honesty, kindness, and compassion who was always willing to offer assistance or a supportive word, according to his family and friends.
On May 21, 2024, in the Eureka Community Center, a memorial service will be held to celebrate the life and legacy of James. The community is invited to attend. James’s lifelong commitment to environmental matters is reflected in the family’s request that donations be directed to the Missouri Environmental Trust in lieu of flowers.
