Last night, the world lost the great Jack Simmons. Jack was one of the first employees employed when FOX Sports began in 1994.In his employment, he actually ensured that billions of dollars worth of advertising ran during Super Bowls, World Series, Daytona 500s, and Stanley Cups, among other events. Beyond that, he was kind and treated everyone with decency at all levels of the firm.
His military support was unsurpassed and will always be a part of FOX Sports owing to his efforts. Even though he liked living in Southern California, he longed to return to Breezy Point, New York. And he was a tremendous mentor and friend to me.
He had friendly competitions since was a lifetime Notre Dame supporter and both followed the Bush Push. “Every day of my career, I strive to have that same type of kindness and treat people the way he treated his co-workers.” Jacob Ullman.
“Jack, I love you and will miss you more than you will know. Thank you for being such a special part of my life and always supporting me and believing in me . . I am thinking of you Wendy, Brendan, and Katie and have always thought of you as extended family and always will.”
