Izaiah Carter Death – A student who was shot in the head on Monday afternoon is being mourned by the school community in Baltimore. According to district officials who spoke to 11 News, flags at Patterson High School were flown at half-staff on Tuesday in honor of Izaiah Carter. The 16-year-old pupil was enrolled in the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps at the institution. Carter was shot in the Joseph E. Lee Park on East Pratt Street near a walking trail just behind the school. Neighbors responded to the killing by saying it wasn’t the first time gunfire had been heard in the area.
