The Temecula, California man died at approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday, according to his family. Ivan Terriquez was a Musical ensemble at the Harwood Junior High School located at 3000 Martin Dr, Bedford, TX. According to Ivan Terriquez’s online profile, he was an Alumnus of Texas Christian University, Tarrant County College, and Euless Trinity High School.

Ivan Terriquez passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning leaving his entire family devastated. The news of the death of Ivan Terriquez left the entire school community heartbroken. The cause of Ivan Terriquez’s death was not immediately disclosed by the family. “The love and admiration I have for this man are so overwhelming, I can’t put it into words. Ivan passed this morning around 3:30 am. We are all grieving the loss of a literal beam of sunshine who was quick to make a joke and loved his family and friends unrelentingly. I need this I am deeply saddened by the passing of Ivan Terriquez. He was my former student, my assistant, my co-worker, my friend, and part of my family. Ivan was such a positive influence on everyone that knew him. He would do anything to help those that needed it. A smile was always included. Joy was the absolute best word to describe Ivan.”
“Ivan was a second father at school for my daughter Kate and she is heartbroken. There were many times that he would sit on the floor and help her with homework or just sit there and visit about teenage girl drama. To Lucy Renz and Ivan’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss.
