Isabel Burkholder Death – Authorities reported that St. Charles resident Isabel Burkholder died when her Jeep veered off Highway 94, collided with a bridge column, and caught fire on Tuesday afternoon in St. Charles County. She was a 29 years old. On Tuesday at about 3 p.m., the collision occurred on Highway 94 westbound at Muegge Road.
The police said that Burkholder was driving a 2016 Jeep Wrangler west on the highway. According to authorities, the car veered off the left side of the road, struck a concrete bridge support column, and caught fire. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said that early on Saturday morning, a vehicle traveling the incorrect direction on Interstate 94 collided with a FedEx truck, killing the driver.
