It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our own, Ian Anderson. Ian is the son of Kevin and Beth Anderson and the brother of Molly. Ian has been a stalwart member of HPP for almost two decades. He was a swim team member, a coach, a lifeguard, and a pool manager. His dry sense of humor, sneaky smile, and outstanding work ethic set him apart from his peers. He was a friend to many and a quiet mentor to the younger kids. Beth, Kevin, and Molly, we embrace you with all the warmest of hugs during this extremely difficult time. Your pool family from past and present loves you.
Who was Ian Anderson?
Ian Anderson from Falls Church, Virginia, was the beloved son of Kevin and Beth Anderson and the caring brother of Molly. He graduated from Mclean High School and also attended Stonehill College from 2018 to 2022 where he obtained a Bachelor of Science – BS in Management Information Systems, General. He was a former Wait Staff at The Lewinsville Retirement Residence from September 2015 to June 2016 in McLean, Virginia, and also a former Swim Coach at High Point Pool Swim Team from May 2016 to August 2018 in Falls Church, Virginia.
Ian was a former Assistant Manager at VIRGINIA POOL SERVICES, INC. from May 2017 to August 2020 and was also an Executive Development Intern at Nuwage in Alexandria, Virginia from May 2021 to August 20214. He worked as a Research Assistant at Skyhawk Investment Group – SCIFI from September 2021 to May 2022 in North Easton, Massachusetts.
He was a former Independent Contractor at Instacart from December 2020 to July 20221 in Washington DC-Baltimore Area. Ian was a former Consultant at CareBrains from July 2022 to October 2022 in Falls Church, Virginia. He worked as a Legal Assistant at Pesner Altmiller Melnick DeMers & Steele PLC from August 2022 to November 2022 in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Ian was working as a Data Associate, Business Affairs, and Programming Development at SiriusXM since December 2022 in the District of Columbia, United States.
