Hudson Catmull Death – Hudson Catmull, the son of Dr. Nathan A. Catmull passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 4. He was 15 years old. According to reports, Hudson died following a tragic accident and the nature of the accident has been said to be a motor vehicle crash. According to Town Square Dental, Rupert, in an effort to show unwavering support and love for Dr. Catmull, they decided to organize a special fundraiser in honor of Hudson’s memory.

A candlelight will be held on Tuesday, June 6, after the Gin B game at Minico High School Varsity Baseball Field, by 9:30 p.m. NB: There will be limited amount of candles available loved ones are urged to please bring their own candles. The Rupert West Stake Center will host a viewing for family and friends on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. At 11:00 am, there will be funeral services. Bishop Chris Poole will lead services on Saturday, June 10, 2023 in the Rupert West Stake Center. The funeral will follow in Burley’s Pleasant View Cemetery. The plans are being overseen by Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.

After a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 95 in Canyon County on Saturday, two persons were killed and another was transferred to a nearby hospital, according to the Idaho State Police. According to the police, a 57-year-old Ford Mustang driver from Nyssa, Oregon was traveling east on U.S. Highway 20 when he ran a stop sign. A Ford F350 pickup truck was traveling southbound on Highway 95 when the mustang struck it.
The F350 pickup’s 20-year-old Weiser resident driver was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital. The 57-year-old driver from Nyssa and his 94-year-old passenger, who was also from Nyssa, perished in the collision, according to Idaho State Police. Around 1:55 on Saturday, the collision happened at milepost 53.5 on U.S. Highway 95. According to ISP, the area’s traffic was shut down for around three hours.
Idaho State Police is looking into Saturday’s collision.
