Hollywood shooting – Multiple enforcement officers and emergency crews are responding to a fatal triple shooting in Hollywood, Los Angeles on Saturday, January 7th, 2022. The incident which was initially reported at Hollywood Blvd & N Cherokee Ave changed to 6655 Hollywood Blvd, according to the Citizen app. The police officers in Hollywood were dispatched to the location following reports of shots fired in the area.
What happened in Hollywood?
In response to a 911 call reporting a shooting, police are called. The victim has been shot in the back, and the responding police are calling for paramedics. Three persons in total, according to police on the scene, were shot. According to the police on the scene, one person has died and a second victim received a stomach shot. Two casualties are being taken to a hospital in a vehicle. The coroner is being requested by the on-scene paramedics.
There is a heavy police presence and an ambulance at the crime scene. The victims were not immediately identified by the police at the time of this report.
