Holden Wight Death, Obituary: Holden Wight, a 16-year-old junior student at Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Illinois was killed in a fatal car accident in Oak Brook, Illinois. The traffic accident reportedly happened shortly before 5 p.m., on Friday, 4th of March, 2022.
Wheaton police responded to Butterfield Rd. and Orchard Rd. for a single-vehicle crash in which the driver struck a traffic signal pole. Arriving at the scene, Holden Wight was pronounced dead after he succumbed to severe injuries from the crash.

Holden Wight was born on April 26, 2005, the beloved son of Nicole (née Vercillo) and Michael Wight, loving grandson of Jim and Sandi Vercillo and Nancy and Gerry Wight, dear brother of Clyde and Griffin Wight.
Holden Wight will be missed by his nephew and friend, Terri (Tim) Venzon, Jacki (Scott) Marter, Deedee Wight, Marty (Karen) Wight. his cousin and Danielle (Josh) Niemiera, Nick (Gillian) Venzon, Melanie Marter, Katy Venzon, Zack (Megan) Venzon, Katherine (Grant) Matson, Chloe (Steven) Overkamp and Owen Wight.
Holden was an adored member of a vast extended family too many to name. He was a kind, thoughtful and funny young man who cared deeply for all of his friends and family. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. A celebration of Holden’s life will be held at Danada House, 3S501 Naperville Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189 from 1:00-5:00PM on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
