Harry Reeder Death – Well known pastor, Harry Reeder has passed away suddenly following a tragic accident. The Lead pastor of Briarwood Presbyterian Church was announced dead through a social media post by the church: “It is with a heavy heart that we share that Rev. Harry Reeder, Lead Pastor of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, PCA, has been called home to be with the Lord. He was killed in a car accident around 10:00 am this morning.”
Harry devotedly served as the pastor of Briarwood Presbyterian Church for the past past 21 years prior to his death. “His wisdom and love for a younger, bumbling Southern Baptist pastor years ago taught me how to learn and mature (and helped me to crucify some seriously pathetic self-pity) as a minister and follower of Christ in the midst of affliction” – Jeff-Lisa Robinson

Who was Harry Reeder?
Harry Reeder was the Senior pastor at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. He was a Presbyterian Church in America. He formerly served as the Senior pastor at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church. She studied Church Revitalization at Reformed Theological Seminary. She studied Pastoral Studies at Westminster Theological Seminary. She studied Theology at Covenant College. He studied History at East Carolina University.
He went to East Mecklenburg High. She went to Charlotte Christian School. She was a resident of Birmingham, Alabama where lived until the time of her death. She was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was happily married to his loving wife. Harry was a giant, and his ministry reached tens of thousands of people all across the world.
Today, many in Birmingham and throughout the Christian community in America and the World are grieving the loss of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, PCA Senior Pastor Harry Reeder who was killed in a tragic automobile accident this morning. Pastor Reeder has been a dear friend of mine for 25 years and I was blessed to have lunch with him yesterday along with some other brothers in Christ.
