Granada Hills Shooting – On Wednesday night, July 19, 2023, a man reportedly died in a shooting in Granada Hills; the incident also left a toddler was injured. After receiving a complaint of the shooting at the Granada Hills Recreation Centre, which is located close to the intersection of Chatsworth Street and Petit Avenue, the Los Angeles police department responded there.
At around 11:20 p.m., a number of police cars were still there at the site while a little child, who was estimated to be 2 years old, was being carried into an ambulance. It is not known what the child’s condition is. The victim was pronounced dead at the spot. Additional information on the incident, such as a description of the possible shooter, was not immediately disclosed.

At around 11:10 p.m., officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at the Granada Hills Recreation Center, which is located on Chatsworth Street. When the police arrived, they found one victim suffering from many gunshot wounds. The victim was only identified as a teenage male. It was determined that he had passed away at the site.
