A GoFundMe fundraiser has been started by Ligia Rodriguez to help with the funeral and memorial expenses. “I ask that you donate from the goodness of your heart, to help relieve my family and I from this financial hardship that this sudden loss came with,” Ligia wrote on the fundraiser. The fundraiser raised $5,095, 10 hours after it was set up. The goal of $20,000 was set.
**One died in Templeton multi-vehicle crash on HWY 101**
A single person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Templeton on Tuesday night. The crash happened around 7:04 p.m. on northbound on HWY 101, north of HWY 46 West. According to the CHP, a male driver of a 2009 Dodge Charger was speeding northbound on HWY 101, north of HWY 46 West. Just south of the South Spring St. off-ramp, the driver collided with a 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser. The accident led the Dodge to spin out of control and crash into a gravel slope. The truck then took to the air and landed on its roof. The Dodge driver was killed in the crash. At the moment, he has not been identified.
At this moment, it is unknown whether the motorist was under the influence of alcohol or was preoccupied. The Toyota was only slightly damaged in the collision. A slight injury was sustained by a passenger, while the driver and two other passengers were unharmed.
