Who was Cory Fechner?
Cory was born on January 13, 1989, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Fred and Debra Fechner. He moved to Okaloosa County in 2012 and has been a resident ever since. Cory owned Emerald Shores Flooring LLC and was a member of Hope City Community Church. He was an avid boater who loved fishing and spending time with his family. His contagious laughter and genuine kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Cory is preceded in death by his mother, Debra Fechner.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. from The Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Josh Neel officiating. Burial to follow at Old Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
