Law enforcement agencies are responding to a report of a shooting at the Germantown High School in Germantown, Tennessee, on Tuesday morning. According to law enforcement agencies, the Germantown High School which is located in the area of 7653 Poplar Pike, Germantown, TN., has been placed on immediate lockdown as officers respond to the school campus for active investigations.
Germantown High School is a public high school in Germantown, Tennessee, and is part of the Shelby County Schools district. Three acres were purchased in 1910, and in 1911 students moved into the new building

A brief lockdown was implemented at Bellaire High School on Thursday morning after police reports indicated that an incident had taken place on campus. At approximately 10:15 in the morning, Houston Independent School District police reportedly responded to reports of criminal trespassing on the campus. The initial report from the police stated that there was a gun on campus; however, after searching the building, no firearm was discovered. In addition, according to the Bellaire police department, a total of four people were detained during the course of the investigation.
It is not clear whether or not they were eventually detained by law enforcement. Bellaire HS sent in the following statement:
“Please be advised that today, March 02, 2023 there was a report of a gun on campus. We immediately notified the HISD Police Department and went into lockdown. After a search of the building, no gun was found. Students are safe and classes have resumed. We take these situations very seriously, as the safety of our students and staff is always our absolute top priority.
