“It is with a heavy heart that Kessler Foundation shares the passing of Gerard Malanga, MD. Dr. Malanga was a visiting scientist in the Center for Spinal Cord Research’s Derfner-Lieberman Regenerative Rehabilitation Research Laboratory.
He was the founding director of the New Jersey Regenerative Institute where he specialized in nonsurgical and regenerative treatments of musculoskeletal disorders including injuries of the neck, back, shoulder, and knee. Dr. Malanga was active in the field of sports medicine, treating athletes from recreational through collegiate, Olympic, and professional levels.”
