George Mason University Death – George Mason University Police Department is currently investigating a tragic incident that happened Yesterday evening at the campus. An urgent Mason Alert was reportedly issued to the university community regarding an investigation at the Mason Pond Parking Deck; we have found that a person who was not linked with Mason has passed away. Even if one has no personal ties to the Mason community, it might be upsetting to learn that a student or faculty member has passed away on campus.

About George Mason University
George Mason University (George Mason, Mason, or GMU) is a public research university in Fairfax County, Virginia, with an independent City of Fairfax postal address in the Washington metropolitan area. The university was originally founded in 1949 as a Northern Virginia regional branch of the University of Virginia.
