Gavin Mifflin Death – Sally Creek Golf Club General Manager Gavin Mifflin of London, Ontario has died. He passed away leaving his wonderful family, friends and colleagues in shock and disbelief. He was confirmed dead on Thursday the 28th of September 2023 through a publication that says “Thoughts and prayers to Mifflin family on the passing of my good friend Gavin Mifflin. May he rest in peace”. The exact cause of Gavin Mifflin’s death has not been revealed at the time of this report.
Gavin Mifflin Education
According to his LinkedIn, he embarked on his educational journey at Humber College from 1993 to 1995. Later, in the years 2011 to 2013, he pursued further studies at Fanshawe College, where he made significant contributions as the Voice of Fanshawe Athletics. During this time, he also took on the role of an In-house announcer for game days and special events, as well as a Master of Ceremonies for the Annual Varsity Athletic Awards Banquet & Gala.
His career path led him to a 13-year and 7-month tenure as the Director of World Events & Travel at CSTT Sports Management International, beginning in February 1998 and concluding in August 2011. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Golf Operations & Event Director at Golf North – Paris Grand, dedicating 2 years and 9 months from March 2012 to November 2014.

Gavin Mifflin Career
Continuing his journey, he transitioned into the position of Director of Business Development & Client Care at Sherwood Travel, where he served diligently for 2 years and 10 months, spanning from April 2012 to 2015. In January 2016, he took on the role of Director Of Golf Operations, where his responsibilities included overseeing the hiring of golf operations staff, managing daily operations, schedules, payroll, purchasing and displaying golf shop merchandise, as well as handling tee sheets, tournament bookings, club events, and ensuring the complete satisfaction and enjoyment of guests both on the course and in the clubhouse. He held this position for 11 months, concluding in November 2016.
Furthermore, he contributed his expertise as a Professor at Fanshawe College for 11 months, extending into an additional month. His dedication and commitment were also evident during his tenure as a manager at Sally Creek Golf Club & Villages of Sally Creek in Woodstock, Ontario.
