Gary Bowman Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet Available – It is with great sadness that we inform you that Gary Bowman has unexpectedly passed away. Family and friends are in mourning after learning of the deceased’s death. The situation surrounding the deceased’s cause of death had not been revealed at the time of this publication.
According to Ross Powell‘s Facebook post online, “Gary was such a great guy, dedicated to his church and God, dedicated to his wife and family, and if you had the opportunity to be around Gary and become friends, Gary was committed to you and showed you that you were important to him.
While this week has really broken my heart in pieces, I am so proud to say that Gary had a great, great life. He had such good parents and family. He and Susan raised two great children, whose values reflect those of their parents. His school friends were all perfect (as we all will attest). God gave Gary a great mind and with his talents, he was driven to get the most out of them……and he did. Isn’t that what God wants us all to do, do the most with what He has given us?
Gary (and Susan) had good friends in so many different circles and it was so obvious how much he cared about them all. His brother and sister (Donna) and their families. His and Susan’s neighborhood cohorts in crime (Cathy and Steve, Valinda and Bruce), his Henderson Country Club golfing buddies, their “more than accountants” Bob and Donna, his work staff at the drug store, his fellow church members and choir members, his business partners, his UNC Pharmacy School and UNC Rams Club friends, and many many more….”
Services to celebrate Gary’s life will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 1:00 pm at the Oxford United Methodist Church, 105 W. McClanahan St. Oxford.
