Authorities with the Charleston County Coroner have identified the man who died in a shooting on Lecque Street earlier this week as 40-year-old Galen Magee. He was shot and killed by an unidentified suspect.
The shooting that claimed the life of Magee reportedly occurred at Leque Street. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds before he died. North Charleston Police Department responded to the shooting and by the time they got their, they found Magee on porch, “cold to touch and beyond help.”
The shooting death of Charleston Magee reportedly happened on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Officers cleared the home after finding the door to the house open. No suspect has been named and at the time we filed this report, no one has been arrested in respect to the shooting. North Charleston Police Department is investigating the incident.
