According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, a man in his 20s who was found suffering from gunshot wounds inside a car on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, in Prince George’s County is now confirmed to have died as a result of his injuries. According to the Fort Washington police department, the incident took place at approximately 5:20 p.m. in an apartment complex located in the 1200 block of Palmer Road. Avire Crowder, who was 20 years old at the time of his death, has been confirmed as the victim.
On Thursday, the first report from the police stated that Crowder was in serious condition; however, he was later determined to be deceased at a nearby hospital. The authorities have reason to think that the shooting was not random, and they are currently attempting to understand why it occurred.
