According to the law enforcement agency of Carlow Town, there was a fire incident in the Carlow Town, Ireland where they saw images showing thick clouds of smoke pouring into the sky at the Oglesby and Butler property. The fire incident broken out on Thursday afternoon. According to the authorities, the Oglesby & Butler Group plc, who are based in the O’Brien Road industrial estate, produces, manufactures, exports and markets gas-powered hand tools to all over the world. The authorities stated that several units of the local firefighters team are currently at the spot of the incident. According to irishmirror.ie.
Preliminary investigation shows that, the local fire fighter service are advising resident and those living in the neighborhood to close their windows that the wind might blow the smoke into their various houses, as part of health precaution. According to authorities, motorists and motorcyclists are also told to stay off the area for the time being, until the fire fighters are able to put the flame under control, and the O’Brien Road will be closed. The authorities has also warned the residents of the neighborhood, that there may be water pressure problems in the town as more water will be redirected to the area to assist firefighters in putting out the fire, and traffic delays are to be expected.
