Ferndown Accident – A 54-year-old man has been confirmed dead by the authorities following a crash collision involving a highway lorry carrying out resurfacing work in Redwood Drive, Ferndown, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. According to the reports the incident took place at about 11.10 am.

Dorset Police stated that the 54-year-old pedestrian died at the scene of the incident after he was was struck in Redwood Drive, Ferndown, on Tuesday. According to the reports, authorities were alerted about a collision on Redwood Drive in Ferndown, involving a lorry, which was carrying out resurfacing work, and a pedestrian. The victim involved was identified as a 54-year-old male.

authorities arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the tragic incident. Reports also stated that the man was arrested on suspicion of a driving offence which may have led to the death of the victim involved. Health and Safety Executive had also been notified and was assisting with an investigation.

Investigation about the incident is ongoing. The Inspector of Police, Craig Tatton sympathize with the family of the victim “Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died at this extremely difficult time. “We are carrying out an investigation to establish the full circumstances of this incident and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to the police to please contact us. He also added, “I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam, home CCTV or doorbell camera footage.”
