Woburn police and the District Attorney’s Office are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian. Neither the victim nor the suspect, have been identified though authorities say the vehicle thought to be involved in the incident had been found.
Several items were strewn over the road, including a shoe at the scene of the accident.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and Woburn police were investigating a tragic pedestrian accident on Montvale Avenue, near the town’s center, on Thursday night, where the driver of the vehicle fled the site of the accident, which occurred shortly after 7:15 p.m.
The Massachusetts State Police accident reconstruction team was seen taking measurements along the road in video from the scene.
