Avenues Mall Shooting Investigations – Today, Saturday September 30, 2023, reports of a shooting incident at Avenues Mall reached the public notice. Fire alarms are currently going off at the scene. Investigations are underway to determine the outcome of this shooting. So far, no death has been confirmed and it is unknown if any injuries were sustained in the process. Everyone is urged to avoid the area at this time. Sources say there was a dispute between two groups of young guys, and one of the participants took out a revolver during the altercation. The groups have been taken into custody.

Sitting in a Mexican Restaurant at the Avenues Mall here in Jacksonville with the family after ordering, about 40 or so Jacksonville Sheriff’s Officers come in “HEAVY” with AR’s drawn and order’s everyone out of the whole damned mall!! Someone made a false complaint that there had been a gunshot, which led to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office investigating the incident and determining that it was actually a fight between two groups of young boys.
