Eva Silver Death — Eva Silver, 30 years old, has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred inside her apartment on Fortress Boulevard Tuesday, March 15, 2023. Following a standoff with Hendersonville police, Silver’s boyfriend, who was identified as the suspect, shot himself in the head. A member of the woman’s family went to her apartment in Garrison Station around 11 in the morning and discovered Silver there. Eva Silver passed away following the tragic incident.
The investigation led investigators to focus on her boyfriend, Tyler Gardner, who is 29 years old. After the fatal shooting, Gardner reportedly went to his parent’s house in Hendersonville, where he made a suicidal threat to himself. During a confrontation with the police in Hendersonville, his body was discovered inside the house with a gunshot wound to the head that he had inflicted on himself. Tyler Gardner was pronounced dead by authorities.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division of the Murfreesboro Police Department and those from the Hendersonville Police Department are working together to solve their respective investigations.

On January 24, 2023, two persons were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, inside a residence where officials discovered a toddler and a newborn left alone but still alive. Burnett stated that his office is supporting South Pittsburg police and an investigator from the District Attorney’s Office, along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Dispatchers claim that the discovery was reported to authorities at 6 a.m. CST on Tuesday.
According to South Pittsburg Police Chief Wayne Jordan, a family member discovered the couple. According to him, the family member who discovered the two bodies is helping the police. Jordan claimed that tests have been requested to help determine what transpired and that the two bodies have been transferred to Nashville for an autopsy. He claimed that a handgun was used. The toddler and infant, who were unharmed, are currently being accommodated by the authorities, according to Jordan.
Eva Silver’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
