In a letter to Deadline on Saturday, the actress’ family confirmed her death. “It is with deep regret and grief that we must inform you that Estelle Harris died away last evening at 6:25 p.m.,” her son Glen Harris said.
According to people.com, “Her kindness, enthusiasm, sensitivity, humor, empathy, and love were nearly unequaled,” he wrote, “and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.”
Harris is best known for portraying Estelle Costanza, Jason Alexander’s mother, on Seinfeld, as well as Mrs. Potato Head in the last three Toy Story films. She was also noted for her work in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Tarzan II, The Pinocchio Shop, and a slew of other memorable voice roles and commercials.
