Accident: After a car was struck by a box truck on I-65 in Indiana, a woman was killed – When her car was struck by a box truck on the side of Interstate 65 near Seymour, an Indiana woman was killed. Indiana State Police recognized Erika J. Jimenez, 35, in a statement.
The collision occurred on I-65’s southbound lanes just after 11 p.m. Sunday. When Jimenez’s 2003 Toyota became disabled, she pulled over in the right lane of I-65 southbound, just north of the Seymour exit.

Jimenez stepped out of her car and was standing near it when it was struck by a 2018 Dodge box truck traveling south on the freeway, according to investigators.
Officials stated Jimenez was hit by the car and died as a result of her injuries. The 61-year-old driver of the box truck was unharmed in the collision.
