Eric Hallman Death – Friends and family took to social media to express their sadness over the death of their beloved brother and friend Eric Hallman of Hanover, Ontario, who passed away recently. He was announced dead on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, in an announcement that read “RIP dearest Eric Hallman So very sad you had to leave us so soon you were way too young.” The cause of his death was not released at the time of this report.
Who was Eric Hallman?
Eric had a kind word for everyone and was a kind and generous man. He didn’t make many requests. Harris and Dorothea (née Boadway) Hallman were my parents when I was born on April 10th, 1954 in Hanover. He was a Hallman Motors employee. To his beloved wife Sherry (née Allen) Hallman of Hanover, he was a devoted husband. He was Sada’s, Alanda’s, and Ericka’s beloved father.
Eric Hallman was always eager to share his wisdom and thoughts, and he offered counsel and commentary on everything. Everyone who sought him out for his steadfast friendship and generous attitude considered him an angel and a friend. He was both. A large number of people came to seek his counsel and to experience the compassion, direction, and generosity that characterized him.
He had an exploratory mindset and could make friends with anyone he came in contact with. Eric Hallman has been there for countless people when they’ve needed a helping hand, an ear to listen, and a heart that’s open. Eric Hallman possessed the most stunning grin and a kind, compassionate heart, in addition to his vibrant personality that could light up a room.

He left an impression wherever he went, encouraging others to live their truth and to live a life with a purpose, and he inspired others to replace judgment with kindness and love. He left his mark everywhere he went. Eric Hallman was known for his trademark of unconditional love. He was a wonderful blessing. There is no one else on the planet who is quite like Eric Hallman. His legacy will continue to be carried on by people he befriended and loved even though their pain at losing him is immeasurable.
He will be remembered with a great deal of affection, even though his absence will be deeply felt. He was the type of person who was always up for a good time and appreciated being in the company of wonderful friends and family. Although on the surface Eric Hallman appeared to be a tough guy, he was actually a giant softie with a large heart.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Hanover Missionary Church at 11:00 am. Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, ON. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank, Hanover & District Hospital Foundation, or charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
