Eric is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ackerman; daughters, Aurora and Leela; mother, Kitty Olivares; siblings, Becky (Tom) Truitt, Ed (Shanna) Ackerman, Joe (Brooke) Ackerman, Jim (Jessie) Berardi, and Matt Heidl; grandmother, Shirley Ackerman; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Eric Ackerman, Sr.; grandfather, Edward Ackerman; and grandmother, Myrtle Croxton.
On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, Eric Wayne Ackerman, Jr., age 44, from Sandusky, Ohio, passed away as the consequence of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. His birthday is December 2nd, 1975, and he graduated from Sandusky High School. After 15 years in the industry, he finally decided to call it quits. Eric loved working on model cars, following the Ohio State Buckeyes, and hanging out with his family, friends, and teammates at Ohio State.
