Emmie Sperandeo Accident – On Monday, May 15, Emmie was taken to a Trauma Center in Arizona when the horse she was riding turned and fell on top of her while she was working on a cattle movement at a Ranch in Arizona. She had been working there for a while. Since then, all indications point to her having remained asleep throughout this entire process. It would appear that injuries of this nature are notoriously difficult to foresee. It is anticipated that she would spend at least a couple of weeks in the medical facility. She is expected to remain in the intensive care unit for at least the next ten days.
Following the accident Emmie was taken by helicopter to a trauma center in Arizona. Her loved ones are currently at the hospital with her, and she is being closely supervised around the clock by a large number of medical professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and specialists who are in charge of her care.
Emmie Sperandeo GoFundMe
Natalie Sperandeo created a GoFundMe fundraiser to help and assist with the medical expenses. Emmie was still suffering from the effects of a concussion that she received one month earlier when she was flung from a bucking horse and hit her head on a fence railing. She suffered a broken finger as a result of the incident as well. At this point, Emmie has at least two fractures to her skull, and she is still bleeding from her ears.
According to the neurosurgeon, a reasonable prognosis for recovery cannot be provided until three to four more days of monitoring have passed and improvement has been made. According to the page, even though it is still very early in this process, it is becoming abundantly evident that at best she is going to require a period of months in order to recover to a level that is satisfactory. Obviously, that is up for discussion and debate.
In that case, they will have to determine where they can make the most efficient attempt at that recovery. It is highly unlikely that she will have the ability to fly. Maybe not even drive for some time. Over the course of the next week or two, each and every one of these decisions will be made.
