According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), a tragic incident occurred on Sunday, June 18, in Crenshaw County, resulting in the loss of a woman’s life. Lakenya B. Anderson, a 40-year-old resident of Brantley, was involved in a fatal head-on collision. She was driving a Nissan Rogue that collided with a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Lucas Johnson, a 20-year-old from Brantley.
Tragically, Anderson succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident. A 12-year-old juvenile, who was a passenger in the Nissan Rogue, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The collision took place around 8:05 a.m. on Crenshaw County 57, approximately seven miles north of Brantley, within Crenshaw County.
