Who Is Elizabeth Reyes?
Elizabeth V. Reyes is a Filipino arts and travel journalist who has authored a variety of travel articles and illustrated books covering the Southeast Asian region. Her published works include titles such as The Philippines: Journey Through the Archipelago, Filipino Style, Islander, and Tagaytay: Town on the Ridge. She is also the author of the Times Travel Library: Bali and The Times Travel Library: Manila.
Her coverage of the region includes the countries of the Philippines, and more. Reyes was born and raised in the warm climate of southern California. She has a beautiful husband and two wonderful children. Despite the fact that she has had a passion for writing ever since she was a young child, she has never seriously entertained the idea of making a job as a writer. Then the age of eReaders arrived, and she recognized that this presented an opportunity for her to have her writing read by people all over the world without the hassle of having to get officially published and navigating the bureaucracy involved in doing so.
