An accident involving a person and a vehicle occurred in the vicinity of S. Circle Drive and Winnepeg Drive on the evening of April 20, 2024, and the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to the scene.
When cops arrived, emergency workers were administering medical treatment to the pedestrian; however, the pedestrian did not survive her injuries and passed away after being transferred to the hospital.
El Paso County Coroner Aaliyah Marie Tipton, who was 25 years old, has been identified as the pedestrian, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). Her passing was the seventeenth person to lose their life as a result of a traffic accident in Colorado Springs in the year 2024.
