Death: 11-year-old girl passed away in UK hospital – After an 11-year-old child died in a UK hospital, a community in Co Galway has been left ‘under a cloud of mourning.’ Eimear N Chonghaile, from Spiddal in Co Galway, had been ill for a while and had been undergoing treatment in England for the previous month when she unfortunately died.
According to extra.ie, Spiddal GAA Club has set up a GoFundMe for Eimear’s family, which will assist them with repatriation and funeral expenses. At the time of writing, the fundraising had raised nearly €50,000.
