Earl Smith URI obituary – Earl Smith Uri has died

Last night, March 3, 2022, Rhode Island and the minority community as a whole lost a wonderful one. For Cape Verdeans, he was the director of the URI Amilcar Cabral Foundation, which brought groups of students to Cape Verde every year for hands-on study, which Toney DaMoura started and which he maintained after his death.
