Dylan Astacio Death – Oviedo High School Alumnus Dylan Astacio has sadly passed away. He died after a tragic car accident on Tuesday 16th May 2023. According to the Florida Highway Patrol’s investigators suspect that speed had a role in the fatal accident that occurred on Tuesday night in the eastern part of Seminole County. A preliminary report from the Florida Highway Patrol states that just before 10:30 p.m., a driver in his 20s operating a Porsche Boxter on Brumley Road lost control of his vehicle on a bend.
How did the accident happen?
The statements provided by the state troopers indicate that the car was heading west toward White Tail Trail when it crashed with a tree, which caused it to roll multiple times before catching fire in a field. This information was gleaned from the statements made by the state troopers. According to the reports of the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the Porsche was able to get out of the vehicle before it caught fire. Dylan Astacio, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was unable to flee the scene and was subsequently confirmed dead.
On April 17, 2003, Dylan was born in the city of Orlando, Florida. He had recently graduated from Oviedo High School with the Class of 2021 and was enrolled at Seminole State College at the time of our conversation. The hunt and time spent in the hunt camp were two of Dylan’s favorite things to do.
Who was Dylan Astacio?
Dylan was a huge sports fan and enjoyed a variety of activities, including football, golf, fishing, and soccer. He cherished spending time with his buddies, playing video games, and working on his truck in his spare time. Everyone who had the opportunity to speak with him remarked on his selflessness and how much he valued learning from others. He was an engaging conversationalist. Above all else, Dylan cherished the time he could spend with his huge, extended family.
He leaves behind his parents, Angel & Whitney, his sister Brooke, his grandmothers Ingrid Astacio & Karen McMillen, and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins that will all continue to cherish his memory. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Charlie Astacio & Warren McMillen.
