According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, an accident that occurred just after 5 a.m. on Monday resulted in the death of one individual.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and medical personnel from MedAct responded to the accident involving a single vehicle that occurred close to 200th Street and South Moonlight Road. A tree was struck by the vehicle, which then caught fire. It was determined that the driver had passed away at the site.
