Drew Mitchell Death – The University of Mississippi student Drew Mitchell has sadly passed away. He died after in a deadly hit-and-run accident on Thursday 27th April 2023. Eureka Lacrosse Club shared the news of his death on its Facebook handle on Friday that says “It is with profound sadness that we must share the news about a tragic loss in our lacrosse family”. As of the time this article was published, further information regarding the accident has not been released.
Who was Drew Mitchell?
The smile that Drew always wore was contagious, and he never had anything terrible to say about anyone. Drew left a great impression on everyone he met because of the way in which he touched others. Drew was a model of what it means to be a supportive and helpful teammate. He was such a nice young man who always made it evident how much he loved everyone, was attractive inside and out, had a great sense of humor, was incredibly intellectual, and appreciated life.
He was also extremely beautiful both inside and out. He has a certain goal in mind, and he is putting in a lot of effort to make it come to fruition. Nature may be intimidating and thought-provoking. considerate as well as generous. He set a wonderful example for many teens who looked up to her.
Drew Mitchell GoFundMe
On Friday, the 28th of April 2023, Matt Bartoe set up a GoFundMe account with the objective of contributing some financial assistance to the family of the departed while they are going through this challenging period in their lives. The campaign has thus far been successful in raising a total of $3,795, with a single contribution of $2,500 constituting the greatest of its kind. The goal of the fundraise was to raise the sum of $25,000 for Drew Mitchell’s memorial and funeral expenses.
An excerpt from the fundraiser says “Drew was an amazing person, filled with love, and always a bright smile that made others feel warm. He was tragically struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Oxford, Mississippi where he was a Freshman attending Ole Miss. . Drew passed away on April, 27th and his loss will be forever felt by his family, friends, classmates, teammates, and the Wildwood, MO community”.
