Drake sets to attend iconic Harlem Apollo Theater – Drake is an influential figure in contemporary popular music, a Canadian rapper, singer, and actor. He announced performing in an event coming up next month. Drake has revealed that he will perform at New York City’s illustrious Apollo Theater. Through SiriusXM, fans may enter to win tickets to the event happening next month in NYC. Those who can not make it to the venue can listen to it wherever they are.
Drake is traveling to New York to perform at the renowned Apollo Theater. Fans can listen to Sound 42 (Ch. 42) on the SXM App between now and 11:00 PM, ET on October 26, 2022, to enter the raffle by scanning the QR code on SiriusXM’s website, here, and then listening to Sound 42 on the SXM App. Entry does not require payment. On Monday afternoon, the rapper, whose most recent album, Honestly, Nevermind, was published in June, announced the performance on Instagram.
On Tuesday, Drake announced the event on Instagram. Among others, French Montana, Ty Dolla Sign, Roy Woods, and others enthusiastically responded to the post. OVO Sound Radio, which was co-founded by Drake, Oliver El-Khatib, and Noah “40” Shebib in 2015, is broadcast on Sound 42. Drake’s most recent album, Honestly, Never mind, was released four months before the Apollo Theater concert.
Despite receiving a more mixed reception than the majority of Drake’s past albums, the album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with 204,000 album-equivalent sales. Drake has surpassed The Beatles to become the musician with the most top five hits in Billboard Hot 100 history after appearing with Lil Baby on DJ Khaled’s “Staying Alive.” On November 11, 2022, Drake is slated to perform at the Apollo. Drake will be performing at the Harlem theater for the first time. The Apollo Theater started in 1913 at 253 West 125th Street in New York City’s Harlem neighborhood.
