Doug Delong Cambridge obituary, death

Douglas L. DeLong, 64, of Cambridge, died away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the Cambridge Hospital. His birthday is August 18, 1957, and he was born in Cambridge. Mr. DeLong attended Zane Trace High School, where he graduated in 1975. He served his nation as a member of the United States Army.

Doug worked as a technician for Colgate-Palmolive for 22 years until he decided to leave the company. Porsche driving, attending car events, spending quality time with his family, and assisting those in need were all things he enjoyed doing.

Doug DeLong is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rhonda P. (White) DeLong; his mother, Mona J. DeLong of Salesville; mother-in-law, Carol L. White of Cambridge; two brothers, Darryl (and Sandy) DeLong of Salesville and Dennis (and Susan) DeLong of Senecaville; children, Rachelle Leonard of Cambridge; JoDee (and Justin) DeMond of Bowling Green; and J. (and Kelsey His father, Guy DeLong, and father-in-law, William White, died before him, as did three brothers, Darren, David, and Dayle; a son-in-law, Joe Leonard; and a brother-in-law, Billy White. He is survived by his wife, Lisa, and their children.

In the evening of Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, with the funeral commencing at 6 pm, there will be a viewing. Pastor Larry Jack will preside over the service. On Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 2 p.m., there will be graveside services at East Union Presbyterian Cemetery in East Union, New York. Donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to East Union Presbyterian Church, 11200 Norwich Drive, New Concord, Ohio 43762 (East Union Presbyterian Church).
