Dorothy Lavern Werba of Rib Mountain died quietly on February 27, 2022, at Wellington Place in Wausau. Dorothy Moss was born in Portland, Oregon, on December 17, 1922. On February 6, 1946, she married her soulmate, William Werba, and they had three children.
Dorothy worked in processing for Kraft in Wausau. Those who knew her called her a housewife. She liked crocheting and helping out at church activities. Dorothy enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, collecting trinkets, and building birdhouses. Mimi was a loving wife and mother. Her family was her life. When Dorothy and William weren’t at home, they were in their RV, either south or north.
Her husband, parents, brothers, and granddaughter Gwendolyn Flores Hoffman predeceased her. Survivors include Bruce (Connie) Werba, Jim (Sara) Werba, and Nancy (John) Hrebik; grandkids Denise (Mark), William (Alex), Bruce Jr.
An eulogy will be held at 10:00 am at Restlawn Memorial Park, 235962 N Troy St, Wausau. Visitation begins at 9:00 am.
