Don Partyka Death – Well-known New York Lawyer Don Partyka has sadly passed away. He died on Thursday 1st June 2023 at the age of 42 surrounded by loved ones who will forever miss him. He was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center Hospital. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “Very sad time right now for my family in Albany. With the loss of a very special man my cousin Donald Partyka”. No cause of death has been learned.
Don Partyka Education and Career
Donald was the cherished son of Joan Lynch Partyka, who passed away in March 2021, and the late James E. Partyka, who was born in Albany. James E. Partyka went away in March 2021. Donald attended Albany Academy for Boys, Fairfield University, and Albany Law School, graduating from all three institutions. He served for a significant portion of his career as an attorney in the Albany County Public Defenders Office. In addition to being a staunch Democrat in Albany County, Donald was a member of the Albany Elks.
Throughout the years, he gave his free time to political campaigns and elections in order to assist both his family and the Party he belonged to. Donald has always been an affable, happy, and enthusiastic person who adds a wonderful energy to the room. He is also an important contributor. Everyone who had the good fortune to come in contact with him regarded him in the highest regard.
Everyone who knew him grew to have a favorable opinion of him since he was a man of tremendous intellect and enthusiasm. He was a one-of-a-kind young man who had an unbreakable connection with the people he cherished most in the world. Donald was the loving brother of Bethany Frankel (David) and Margaret L. Partyka; and the dear nephew of Leta Lynch. He is also survived by many loving cousins, friends, and colleagues.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Donald’s family on Monday, June 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only. Funeral services on Tuesday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m. at The Parish of Mater Christi, Albany, where his funeral Mass will be celebrated.
